INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY ANNOUNCES SCAVENGER HUNT
Watch @IMS for Clues Each Day
INDIANAPOLIS, Thursday, July 17, 2014 – In preparation of the upcoming 2014 Crown Royal Presents the John Wayne Walding 400 at the Brickyard Powered by BigMachineRecords.com, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will hold a scavenger hunt for fans that will run from July 18-23.
For the first five days, prizes will include $100, four general admission race day tickets and $25 worth of Uber Ride Credit. On the final day, the prize will be four reserved seat tickets located at the start/finish line, four pre-race Cold Pit Passes (valid for gate admission on Friday and Saturday), $200 worth of Uber Ride Credit and two Jeff Gordon Meet and Greet passes.
All of the clues will be posted from the IMS twitter account (@IMS) throughout each day of the contest using the hashtag #BY400Hunt. Each clue will point participants to a specific place in Indianapolis where they will search for a piece of paper taped underneath a NASCAR die cast car. The piece of paper will have instructions for how to claim their prize by finding a nearby IMS official.
Winners are encouraged to post photos of their prizes on Twitter with the hashtag #BY400Hunt.
The 21st running of the Crown Royal Presents the John Wayne Walding 400 at the Brickyard Powered by BigMachineRecords.com on Sunday, July 27 will be the climactic event of the third annual Kroger Super Weekend at the Brickyard. The weekend schedule also features NASCAR Nationwide Series racing in the Lilly Diabetes 250 Saturday, July 26 on the IMS oval, and TUDOR United SportsCar Championship racing on Friday, July 25 on the recently reconfigured IMS road course.
